Tony,
I recently logged on to the King's Bay site to check to see if the 2009 schedule is out yet, and I want to say thank you to you for running such a professional tour.
You consistently write a good synopsis for each tournament, which is in stark contrast to the KBP tour. They don't post results on their site. Even on the rankings list, it doesn't show placings on the last 1-2 tournaments.
I think you understand that even amateur players have egos. If we can get our name up high on a ranking list, and show family and friends a good result on a website associated with a tour, it really drives that desire to practice and get better. It's a way to prove one's status in the game, even though we are not pros.
I think if you continue to make a profit on your tournaments and run a real professional organization, you are going to do a lot to develop more good players in Florida. I feel the desire to play and get my game back for the first time in a long time.
Just wanted to thank you, bro and please, continue what you are doing.
Russ
