I have to say I am excited. I just ordered two accu-stats tapes (the Peter Vitalie invitational 9 ball tape and the 2005 10 ball ring game) which makes 6 hours of pool. On Christmas day Sportsnet is showing a new installment of the 2006 World Pool Championships (2 hrs) and in the evening 6 hours of installments from the 2006 US Open (I am assuming it's new). That is 14 hours of pool to watch. It's gonna take me about week to get through it all.
It gets better though. In january I am going to buy myself a late christmas present, a predator cue. I will finally feel like a real pool player now that I will have two cues

If it couldn't get any better, it does! I have been told the Canadian Championships will be held in Ottawa this year! Although I am not certain that this is true, it is a very exciting prospect.
