Cindy is into the early stages of a kitchen remodel. Looking at cabinets, countertops, lighting, etc. After a particularly trying bathroom remodel, a "simple" job that had our home in turmoil for over 6 weeks, I made an announcement. That is, the next time she decides to hire pros to rearrange the feathers in our little nest, I'll be gone. I'll find a nice vacation spot, rent a room, and she can call me when it's over.
Well, looks like it's going to happen. I don't fly, but Reno is a nice 10-12 hours drive from me. I figure that would be perfect. I could see some shows, eat well, get plenty of rest, etc.
So, anybody know of any good halls in the Reno area? I like 9' tables, no loud music. I don't play for money, but love watching good shooters.
Any good places to stay? Don't really know how long I'll be there. The usual remodel rule of thumb is that it will take 3 times as long and cost 3 times as much as original estimates.
