1) I have an old Mali that has been stripped. We also removed the wrap. The cue is worth saving in my opinion (BEM one-piece butt with a wrap), but I'll ask yours. The stainless joint collar (5/16 by 14) has the tiniest wiggle in it. It tightens up fine when I put the cue together. Can this be fixed easily? If so I'll move forward with the refinish and rewrap. I'm not convinced that the collar needs to be fixed; any thoughts on that?
2) The next one is a purple heart sneaky that has some cracks near the buttcap. I have a butt sleeve that I picked up that is perfect for the cue. I'd like to have someone shorten the butt and add the sleeve. At the same time, it might be worth it to add a buttcap and joint collars. I think it's worth doing but please PM me estimates if any of you are willing to take it on.
3) I just read that dents in the clear can be "lifted." Is this true and and if so, how?
Thanks in advance,
Karl
