What is the average total cost to do the following:
1. Convert rails and pockets to regular playing pockets, pro cut.
2. Install Simonis

Are there any recommendations for installers that are experienced and good at this that are located in Texas or willing to travel?

Also, what is the minimum size room needed for a 10' table if you are playing with standard size cues like predator?

Considering picking up a great deal and looking forward to the challenge!

thanks

Snooker table conversion

I had one done on a 1926 10' Brunswick Medalist about 4 years ago. It's a lot of work, the rails have to be cut with new "pool " sights installed. the 3 slates have to be made larger at the pocket openings plus the frame bed has to be cut to allow for the larger pocket openings. I paid approx $4000 on the east coast, that included tear down at my house + new cloth (860) and new rail rubber, custom pockets and rail cloth, delivery + re assembly. It's well worth it, the table is beautiful and plays like a dream!!!

You also want about 5ft or more per side, your cue is 58". This way if the cue ball is on the rail and your shooting straight across you have a little stroke room.
