This is a funny story about Mark Tad I heard a few years ago, it's a classic.
Years ago when Mark Tad was one of the best players in the west coast, a road player came in the poolroom he was at, and asked immediately if anybody wanted to play some 9-ball for $1000. One by one everyone in the room turned him down, except for Mark Tad. The road player asked Mark if he was any good, and Mark replied "I'm the best you've ever seen." It was a race to 9, Mark won the coin toss, broke, and ran 9 racks. The guy paid Mark and asked him "You're too good for me to play even, can you give me some weight?" Mark replied, "Well how do I know that, I've never seen you play!"
lol
