A good night of pool

Sound like diamonds.😉
It also really depends on the cloth condition and humidity.
When recovered with new cloth and humidity is decent, it plays well but a few weeks in and the rails get to be jumpy.

take a look here
the diamond system says I need to follow the yellow path and it works with new cloth and controlled humidity but most times I need to follow the black path....

Wow
You gotta go that deep into the corner at times?? That's a lot of variation bro. I know balls get dirty and cloth gets heavy from humidity, but still. Thanks for the example. Explains a lot.👍🏻

I’ve played on tables that I had to go even closer to the pocket, like half a diamond from the pocket

Changing where you have to hit to go three reels to the corner, I understand
But aiming at two from five and hitting one makes no sense
And the yellow line makes even less sense going from five to one and hitting one on the third rail🤔🤔

disregard the actual path, it's a freehand drawing and not accurate.

to make it simple, "by the book" on a "normal table" in order to make the 10ball, I need to aim at point "A", the 3rd diamond from the right pocket.
but on these tables, the aiming point varies anywhere between "B" & "C" - half a diamond to a diamond and a half from the right pocket.

The rails not only bank short, they are also very jumpy.
When I play league or a tournament, every time I get to a table, I do some test shots to see how the rail play.
This is one of the test shots. I also test one rail banks from pocket to pocket.

Just before summer when the humidity wasn't as high, one of the clubs put a new cloth on a few tables and for a few days they played "correct"

BTW, Dynamic is a German company that sells different billiard goods, I doubt that they make these tables and they are probably OEM Chinese tables.
They used to have them at the European championship and on the Eurotour before switching to Predator tables. When new they play great and they are cheap compared to American brands but I never liked how their rails play.

On my table at hjome
GC 1 with simonas 760 several years old
I have to aim at 1 1/2.
Some diamonds i have had to aim at 1
Never at 0.5
Btw the 5 to 3 to 2 to the corner is from the billiard books
Pool tables its usually 5 to 2 to 3 to the corner or in that neighborhood
You already know that
