A great night of Accu-Stats, and why no snooker on Accu-stats?

I recieved my accu-stats order yesterday and watched some great matches. One included Mika Immonen winning a one pocket match, running 9 and out, 7 and out, 8 and out.

I ordered the Johnny Ervolino vs. Earl Strickland match. That was a very interesting one to watch. Johnny's 80 ball run was beautiful. Earl's runs were effective but not nearly as masterful. If Ervolino didn't fall apart the way he did Earl would not have won.

I also experianced Three Cusion Billiards for the first time, with Semih Sagyner vs. Fredric Caudron match as well as Torbjorn Blomdahl vs. Marco Zanetti. I have to say I was absolutely enthralled by these matches. Robert Byrne would say "now he is left with an easy shot" and to me everything looked impossibly hard.

The most fun part about the Billiards matches was trying to figure out how they were going to play the shot. I am proud to say half way through the first tape I was doing a decent job at predicting basic shots.

One thing I was wondering why doesn't accu-stats produce snooker matches. I would think that they would be able to at least produce some matches from the US Championships. Maybe Pat Flemming could film the Canadian Snooker Champions, nobody else is.

Anyways, some great pool and billiards.

If you want to see some truly amazing 3-c get this one, Blomdahl vs. Cuelemans. Blomdahl makes some amazing shots, Cuelemans played well and he was still beat 60-31.

Probably because they wouldn't sell. You'll notice that the vast amount of tapes/dvd's available are 9-ball. I loved the tapes from the first annual accu-stats 8-ball tournament, unfortunately there was no second annual. Again I assume the tapes didn't sell. If you want to get one tape from that event get the Reyes/Bustamante match.

I'm right there with you on the 3C matches!....if you want some free stuff, go here..... www.caromcafe.com they have a bunch of "freeviews". My favs are the Seyginer trick shot stuff!
