How do you decide what cues you are going to buy and which you want to keep? I'm an impulse kinda guy
Are there any factors that play in to how many cues you will keep at any one time? NO
Are there any reasons why you'd "never" sell a cue? There are a couple cues that I have that I wouldn't sell unless it ment keeping a roof over my family's head
Have you ever kept or broken that word and what is that story? I wish I never sold my first Haley I built with Ron. Vinman has it . I couldn't afford to buy it back if I wanted too.
What are the major factors in who you are thinking about getting cues from right now? How long will I have to wait
How important is price and what roll does it play? It's important it dictates weather I can buy or not
Do you have a cue budget for the year and how does that play into your every day life? Usually around 5-6 k a year but I do have stuff I'll sell to trade-up
Do you have a theme or focus for your cue collection and how did you come upon this idea? My new theme for cues ordered direct is Brazilian Rosewood with at least 1 orange veneer

Being unprofessional or unresponsive to communication will usally do it for me. I have also had certain cuemakers ignore me at the SBE or act like it is an inconvience to talk to me or tell me a price on a cue I'm inquiring about . I didn't buy the cue mostly because they treated me as "less than" if you know what I mean.
