Some people have come on here with blanket matching up statements about a player, saying they are the top dog, and no one can beat them. I can appreciate your enthusiasm, and the fact that you might be 'regional', but the plain fact of it is, most of you are full of it when considered on a
'National' basis, and need to know a little more about what you are talking about. The professional level players that REALLY DO take it down for the
cash, are not afraid of any player, and DO NOT need a spot to play.

For example, Jesse Bowman, as good as he is (tournaments mostly) WILL NOT MATCH UP with James Waldon, per James Waldon as told to me directly.

And this woofing about a player, who later was mentioned as Chris Bartrum, would not 'NEED A SPOT' from the pro level player I was lining up for a match IF he was the BEST FOR THE BANK.

You guys need to revise your termonology on your posts, or at least have a player that can play EVEN UP for the 10 or 20k, and not need a spot.

CaJones is a big word! You just need to learn to say it RIGHT!!!

Snapshot,
When I had Antonio on the road he only got even action a handful of times and he would play anyone even 9ball, 10 ball, or rotation in the world and not a lot of people called us to play. The only person that contacted us the second time he was in country to play was Johnny's backer, and time was a factor in getting down. I know Coreys backer (AZ's own AL-Fahl) has offered even action to most anyone, and maybe anyone in the world in Canton Ohio. I know you are from the same area as James Waldon, and I know you can play and James is a champion. I would like to see Corey and James get down I think it would be a good match-up. If James is interested I can get togather quite a bit of chedder for them to play. It would make the Waldon Cooney match look cheap let me know.

I would love to see that match ...

That, indeed, would be a great match, and I would love to see it, pay to see it, and would travel to see it ... lol

Sorry, just couldn't resist. BTW, the suffix -on or -ones (plural) in Spanish means large. Cojones is the word you're looking for. Cajones would be large cajas, caja meaning "box". A little ironic, isn't it?

Sorry ...

you are right Andrew, I do indeed, but I think about 'Boxes' a lot, even
in foreign languages .... lol

Just my two cents, but I learned long ago that you dont have to play good pool to win good money at it. Its all about matching up, and if folks want to come on the board and woof a little, it just makes me feel right at home here on AZB. Every good pool room I have ever been in has woofing just like this, whats wrong with a little virtual woofing now and then?

u need to reread the original post

Nobody ever came on here and said that Chris Bartram was the best player in the world for the cash. Nobody in their right mind would think that. You need to go back and re read the post that you are referring to. You sent me a pms aying that you had someone to play him, well my dad can kick your dads ass. Thats not what we were trying to accomplish. Believe me, if you think Gabe Owen is the best player for the money in the world, and he proves you correct, you would instantly become a multi millionaire, because there are a ton of people you could bust! The original post was referring to anyone that wanted to play Corey. Corey and Gabe are good friends, so that didnt really apply to him. Gabe has beat Chris a few times and no doubt plays a little better than Chris does.

Right, if you can't do it here, then where can you do it?

I think that some people take what people here type a little bit too literally.

How about this Rude Dog....I will play you in on a bar box with the 5 ball and the breaks, and you can play me in the old Sega game NBA JAM. I will play you blindfolded. Race to 100 for a nice steak dinner. I am the best in the world!!!

Billy, you may have had a chance for anything else, but you mentioned a steak dinner. I haven't missed a ball since 1968 for a steak dinner.:D Can we eat after the pool game though? Then again after the Sega game? If so, you got a GAME mister!:D

1968?

thats a long time to be in dead punch. I will still play the game offered, but if you win 8 dinners in a row, an adjustment might be needed!!!

I'll play anyone in the world in Hot Shots Golf for PS2 or Mario Golf for Gamecube. If you happen to beat me, We'll play Beetle Adventure Racing for N64.
