Well as I said in an earlier post...I traded for a very nice older Murrey 6400 9ft in the black laminate. I took my local table guy with me to tear it down & bring it home. I hit a few balls first & I knew it was fast as I've played on it before. It had 860 on it and due to the EXTREMELY live rails...its the fastest table I've ever played on. Here is the problem. When I shoot a ball with some speed...not break speed or even close...just a nice firm stroke...the ball bounces airborne after hitting the rail. You can here it land about a foot away from the rail. If I hit it hard enough it'll do it off the second rail as well. My table guy wasn't exactly sure as to why (scares me but he's a friend & I'm committed now) or how to fix it. I like the lively & fast rails but I can't live with the hop & landing. What do I need to tell my table guy. We won't set it up until later in the week when my Simonis HR arrives. Help! Thank you gentlemen for the help.
