A long shot in the dark (Palmer Cue)

Approx 5 years ago I had two palmer window cues and a 2x5 tan instroke stolen from my car in washington. I thought I would post pics of a similiar cue to see if anyone has it know on here. I know it's been a long time but you never know. I also realize I probably have no claim to it now. It was exactly the same as the one pictured below except it read original by palmer and had one other detail that I can describe that would identify it for sure 100% that could not have been changed or corrected. If you know of a similiar cue let me know and I will tell you the specific detail.

The two on ebay are not correct. I took the photo's from one. My cue looked exactly like it except it only said original by palmer and one other fact that I will disclose privately. The SPECIAL fact is the idetifing mark that I would be willing to bet is not on any other palmer, and it came that way.

pm me for the details if you know of any.

its good you have a special mark. it may be easier to tell us. its a pretty common palmer. unless your name was in it

i understand keeping it private but its easier to say "hey thats my cue with the spot i was talking about'' if no one knows the spot.

if we disclose theres no question

at any rate good luck with your search

contact tate... if it was on ebay odd are hes came across it

Ok, The distinguishing mark is that one point has the middle two veneers reversed. the other three are all the same and all four have the same color veneers....just one point has the two middle ones reversed.

Jacob,

That's too bad about your cue being stolen. I had an old Gina from about 1969 taken from my car back in the 1980's, so I know how you feel. Actually, the whole damn Corvette was stolden with the cue in it - I mis the cue a lot more than the car.

If your cue had the Titlist forearm (which you showed), are you saying that one point had the veneer colors wrong? That would be definitely unique, not only for Palmers, but for any Titlist based cue.

The Model D was a very popular cue, probably the most popular windowed veneered cue ever made.

If you visit my web-site, www.palmercollector.com you can see the cues. I have 3 or 4 of the Model D cues, each one a little different because of the inside prong wood types.

I have one that had a repair, just a slight discoloration of the maple near one point - you really have to look for it. Otherwise it's like new. I would be willing to sell it to you at about half the going rate so you can have a Palmer again.
