The Cue 's logo is all it needs. When you look at it if you can't tell it is gold. You do not know what gold looks like. It can not be faked.
This Cue was available for years on line with another gold inlayed Cue. More than 15 years. It was owned by a gentleman in St. Louis that ordered fine Cues to sell in his poolroom and on line.

No disrespect , is this your cue or Tonys? I see you must know tony well, cause you a answer for him, and keep his thread to the top... But as I asked about the LOA I have searched all over for pictures of this cue from the New York cue show, have found none. The only place I have found this cue is, http://www.cueandcushion.com/catalog/Pool-Cues/Tim-Scruggs-Custom-Cues/ I believe this was the original buyer of this cue, and AZBilliards user name C and C . I'm interested in this cue but I can't move forward without a LOA from Tim Scruggs, and I would like some kind of pictures from that show, I do know what gold looks like, I have a lot of it, but I also know there is no way to test the content of gold on the cue without taking off the finish and doing a gold test, 10k 14k 18k or if it's brass... I think with the LOA . tony or you nick will have this cue sold. When you guys have the providence of this cue please call me at 7189022190 thanks Dom

No dising you might say

But I have offered to buy this Cue and can tell you it is everything advertised. I also talked with Colin about the two collectable TS Cues before he bought them a couple years ago. If you want PM Colin Predith or call him. I will PM his number to you if you are a buyer. As a interested buyer your questions almost insult the Cue.
Tony is in no hurry to sell. I know because I made a solid offer and it was not taken.
I also offer to help Tony get whatever he needs to satisfy another buyer. He is very likable. Whatever he decide to do maybe I'll get another TS Cue from him. He has a couple I like. If I do get the Cue the last thing I would worry about is seeing it needing a Coa or Loa. All it will need a CQC. Closet Queen Case!

Nick I am a protectional buyer, by no means am I insulting this cue, tony or you. I believe it to be a Tim Scruggs,,,,, But I have concern, Tim doesn't make cues anymore. And there are cues he made with brass. That can easily look like gold. A cue of this caliber should come with some kind of letter or providence from Tim, so it's never confused with it not being want it is, and since the only information I can find on this cue is by another seller of AZBilliards C and C of http://www.cueandcushion.com/catalog/Pool-Cues/Tim-Scruggs-Custom-Cues/
And no other information, not even a image from the New York show where this cue was presented, it raises a flag. At least to me... And the cues future. it make me say can you get such a letter from Tim Scruggs, or is it not 14k. I read that the cue was tested by a jeweler I'm not sure how that could have been done since gold needs to be scratched on a special rock and have acid dropped on it, that tests the purity of the gold, this would mean the cue was refinished and there should show some signs of this test where the gold was tested. Send me a pm with any and all info you have on this cue. Thanks Dom

Guys I am working on getting all the info I can on this cue . A letter of providence from Tim , And any other photos and info I can find .

I just don't like to be told something that's not true by someone that knows better .
I hope this helps explains the attitude I had in my one post

This cue might be one of the few gold inlaid cues out of the Scruggs shop that brass was not used in place of gold. This cue is probably worth a lot more now. Nice looking cue Mr. Tony. glws

Bob I don't know why you keep trying to say Tim never used gold in his gold cues which is not true . . Because I spoke to a gentleman at The casting company that Tim used . And he told me that Tim had 12 different molds that he used including the diamonds in my cue the gold ankh which is a cross with the circle on top the gold horseshoe and 9 others and they was cast in 10K,14k,24k, GOLD for Tim Scruggs ...

Most people probably didn't know that Tim made that many gold inlaid cues. Mike told me in person when i asked him about the gold inlays in a cue that was hanging in the back that the inlays were not gold but brass he said that he couldn't sell a cue with gold inlays for $2,000.00. He probably was referring only to the cue in question. I stand corrected sir and wish you the best with this sale. If i had the extra cash i would surely be interested in purchasing this beautiful Scruggs cue.

Ditto!

A great cue by a great cue maker.

I totally agree. Great cue by two of the greatest guys of all time. Thanks for doing your homework Tony, this really helps the collectability of Scruggs cues to really know the truth. Thanks so much.
