A New Trick Shot Show Is Coming To Tv Soon

THE SHOW OF SHOWS IS ON THE WAY:p
A pool announcement, the ultimate pool trick shot show is soon coming to TV.

A new world wide pool tour has been formed; it is called WAPFT, the World Artistic Pool Fantasy Tour. The greatest artistic, fancy and trick shot artists from 5 continents have been chosen. The are the very elite of the worlds best and are called the Magnificent 16. Only 16 tour, to get on that tour, you have to be good enough to get on and then knock off one of the 16. They have assembled the most difficult and almost impossible trick shots on Earth. Each of the top 8 players submitted 6 shots and that is the program they shoot. Every shot is a DF11 which are almost impossible shots to attempt to make.

The Magnificent 16 shoot the 40 fantasy shots and the one who scores the best becomes the Big Kahuna, King Kong, the grand master of grand masters, the high priest of artistic pool in the world.

This now becomes the show of shows, pool’s ultimate test of skill. Nothing like this has ever been attempted before. The difficulty of the shots they will be doing is twice to three times harder than what you see on ESPN trick shot magic. Once you see what these masters can do, everything on trick shot TV today is now obsolete and out of date.
It is going to amaze and dazzle you. It will blow your socks off.
The tour is forming and you can have these 16 greats come to your venue or Expo and conduct their tournament and have all these great stars perform their world class shows and exhibitions during the breaks.

They will come and play any where on Earth. Bookings of the tour have just begun and the first event up will be in Shanghai, China this November 2004. This will be televised by China TV and ESPN Asia. The event will be seen by over one billion people. The tape of the show will surely go into ESPN USA in early 2005 and you will see it then. You don’t have to wait a year to see the greatest pool show on Earth. You can bring these guys in now to make your venue one of their tour stops.

The players who will attend and compete are as follows:
1) Mike Massey USA Confirmed to play
2) Charles Darling USA Confirmed to play
3) Tom Rossman USA Confirmed to play
4) Stefano Pelinga Italy Confirmed to play
5) Sebastian Guimelli Argentina Confirmed to play
6) Ralph Eckett Germany Confirmed to play
7) Bogdon Wolkowski Poland Confirmed to play
8) Fast Larry Guninger USA Confirmed to play
9. Lukasz Szywala Poland Confirmed to play
10. Nick Nikolaidis Canada Confirmed to play
11, Top Japanese player now being recruited
12. Top Korean player now being recruited
13. Andy Segal USA Confirmed to play
14. Top Chinese player now being recruited
15. 16. The last two slots are always held open. Those who can prove they are qualified to play submit their names in a hat and a blind draw picks the last two spots.
The alternates who are confirmed to play if a spot comes up are:
Ken Aylesworth, Sarge, USA
Michael Mossin of Russia
The tournament director is Steve Lillis, USA. The first event in China has the sanction and backing of the IAPA, the current world championship tour, The BCA and the WPA have granted their sanction to the event which will feature a prize fund 8 times larger that they have played for in the past.
Any one interested in booking the tour into your venue, contact the world promoter and manger of the WAPFT tour by emailing to: fastlarry@bellsouth.net

Hi Fast,

Sounds like a wonderful show to me. I saw your tournament director at Castle Billiards in New Jersey a while back. Nothing like having a trick shooter under the American Flag. Photo attached

Cheers

Gremlin

I am under the American flag every time I bend down to shoot. I have a large American flag embroidered on the back of my vest. When I shoot, you see the stars and bars, the red white and blue of the country I love. On the front of my visor is a gold picture of the United States. When I tour the world, there is no question where I am from. I went into Indonesia, 170 million Muslims, they are killing westerners there, blowing them up and shooting hundreds of them at a time, Marriott hotel bombing, Bali massacre, I ran around there with the picture of my country on my back, when I show up, there is no question where I am from. When Efren shows up here, he lets you know where he is from, that is the way it should be.

Steve Lillis is the Minister to the pool world, a true man of God. He stands in good with the Lord. He tours performing trick shots and then likes to talk about Jesus and what faith can do for you in your life. His mission is pure.

I was totally disabled medically and crippled, down and out. Steve's prayers for me turned my health around where suddenly I began a full recovery and have made a return to the game.
He pushed to have me put on the IAPA board and now has pushed to have the current world tour of the IAPA to have me conceive, establish, manage and run the new Fantasy world tour. Every one is now behind me on this. I am now playing on both tours, the old one using the old 40 shot program using the format the current world championship is played by, I'll appear in the Hartford and Allen Hopkins Masters events this March and in the 04 world championship.
The Fantasy tour is a 2nd tour separate for the IAPA tour, a different 40 shot program, 3 times more difficult, all DF11 shots. I am allowed to write any rules, put together anything virtually I want. I am allowing the 16 players to select the 40 shots and tell me what kind of venue they want and I am letting it be a player’s event and tour. I tell them we should call it the Burger King Open, because I am letting them have it, their way.

The Fantasy tour is not stiff and formal; it is to be a lot of fun, a lot of side show entertainment going on. If you come, you see the 16 play and compete on the 40 greatest shots of all time. You also see the world famous shows of all 16 in one places in one weekend. It is the show of shows. I had Steve join and co star with me in my booth at the Hopkins Expo and at the BCA trade show in Vegas last year. You will see Steve and I again entertaining at the Billiards Capital booth this April at the BCA Vegas show. I owe Steve more than I could ever repay him in this life time. He is my minister, he is my friend. :p

Any side bets.......The order you listed them just might be the order they finish......lol! ;)

I did not pick them, the order of who is chosen to be on this list is done by Steve Lillis and Tom Rossman, I have no control over it. The top 8 are fully comped into every event, free airline tickets, hotel, appearance money, vip recognition and handling. The 2nd 8 can play but must pay their own way in and out of the events. The list is being expanded to 16, they will be called the Magnificent 16.

Pool table guy, you are right on, the way they are listed is a damn good bet how they will finish, I am in total agreement with you on that. Very perceptive of you sir. :D

Larry, you gonna go for one of the last two slots?

No, don’t have to, I have the # 8 spot, I am on the comp list and firmly in the Magnificent 16. It will take a few events before the young kids coming up knock me off and take my spot. That is the way it must be, the old must move over so the young can have their chance. :D

sounds good..but i guesse it doesn't do me no good since i won't be able to watch it.

How come, you live under a bridge and got no TV. If you play pool you can catch it on the pool hall TV’s early in 2005. We will begin to do tournaments this late summer or fall, maybe one will come near you and you can come in to see, the show of shows.
It's coming. This is a big gig to book, this is going to take some time to get this rolling before it gets on TV. :D

Excellent my friend Larry, looking forward to it.

Eydie

Thanks for the kind words of support, but don’t look forward to it, book it in your next expo, bring in the Magnificent 16, from all 5 continents of the world, the elite of the elite to shoot pool’s ultimate test of skill. It Is the show of shows. Who will be the Big Kahuna, put pool’s ultimate rumble in Chicago.

One thing that needs to be said that Larry didn't mention is that he is the one who is responsible for getting this thing started, and booking this first tournament in China. Without his efforts, we wouldn't be having this event. Give credit where credit is due. Thanks Larry for all of your efforts in this. Great job.

I have known Sarge for a few years now since he came to do a trick shot exhibition at UW. A very nice man with some great shots. He took challengers at 9ball afterward and I had to run out on him twice. He still mentions it when I run into him around Seattle pool rooms. it would be nice to see him in there as well. Nice job Larry.

Great to hear that pool is on the move. This is "Artisic pool's" chance to grab a meaningful piece of the Billiard pie. Good timing too, as it sort of coincides with Mike Massey's release of his new trick shot book. An excellent book, I might add. I bought it the instant I heard it was available. Its even more comprehensive than Byrne's Treasury of Trick Shots book, which I always thought (up to now) was the best! Best of luck, Fast Larry.

Yes sir, Sarge is great, no question, I run the tour and manage it, but one thing I refused to do was be in charge of choosing the Magnificent 16 and ranking them. That one is just too much of a political hot potato. It is just too much power and influence. I felt if I stayed out of it I could then run the event better. The other thing I have done is when I arrive on site, I become just a player, I then have no control over the event and its rulings, and I turn that over to Steve Lillis.
Lillis and Tom Rossman pick the Magnificent 16 and assign their rankings. Right now Ken is not on the list, he is the first alternate, so if somebody no shows, he plays, which is a good bet he does get in the first one. One guy always screws up, loses his passport, and sprains his wrist, so Sarge is a good bet to play. When he gets in and does well, then he moves down the list and then locks down a 16 spot. You want to help the guy, give a pitch for him to Tom Rossman. If I had the power, he would have been on my 16 no question. We need BCA WPA sanctions which we are getting, but for that we are taking on 3 new Asian players we did not count on, this is what pushed Ken off of the original 16. Now the 16 are from all 5 continents and represent the world, that is so hard to do fairly.

They may eventually take our spot but we can damn well make sure they earn it ;) . Hope this gets to be as big as a Janet Jackson / Justin Timberlake gig :D

If I am able to pull this off and get the support of sponsors to put this on, all this means is everyone in pool goes along for the ride. This makes pool bigger, brings more attention to the game, new people pick up the game, rooms fill up, its a win win thing for all.

The game right now needs something like this coming along, something totally different, something really big, we'll this is the big show, the show of shows. This is not the announcement of some freak show, but the birth of a new sport, the first one to come along in pool in 95 years. It will not be just a thing to watch, it will become a game you can all do as well. :D
