A Paean To Cuetec Cues

I know a fellow who has a cuetec J/B as well as a Sledgehammer. He prefers the cuetec, and uses it for breaking, not the sledgehammer. Guy plays jam up too.
 
Thanks for the post Scaramouche That is an interesting take on the Cuetec. The extension is quite appealing.

There are many comments pro and con on some particular cue maker that are simply uninteresting personal unsubstantiated opinion. Most any cue that cost $150.00+ is a useful cue.

Until I can find a new break cue I have been using a $30.00 Sportscraft fiber glass cue from Wal-Mart and it is serviceable, even with a screw on tip. I intend to replace the tip with a LePro and will have a reasonably good break cue. The screw on tip has a few hundred breaks on it and it won’t give up. Somebody at sportscraft knows something about cue tips.

I have been looking at the Cuetec line because I want a robust (takes a beating) stick with several options. With this video I am pretty well sold on Cuetec.

My playing cue is a Mottey with a Predator Z2. I do appreciate a fine cue that is also art. Some cues are simply tools others are art and craft.
