So try not to laugh at me while reading this, I know it might be hard
I'm toying with the idea of getting serious about my game. I'm not winning every local tournament (yet) but I'll usually put in a good showing and place in the money every few tournaments, and I've been playing (and improving) consistently since 2004. On an average day I'm about a B- or C+, but maybe 1 or 2 days out of 5 I will shoot at A speed or better.
The thing is, I can SEE all the right shots. I have zero problems predicting what Ralf, Mika, or Shane are going to shoot next, and applying that shot selection to my own game while AT the table. My problem is execution, and I know if I got (more) serious about my game I could execute with a level of consistency and comfort that would help me win tournaments.
So here are my problems:
1. I can't decide between a Z2 or a thin 314-2 (12.3 or 12.2). It's one of these two... no other choice (don't say solid maple).
2. I really like my cue, it plays amazing for the most part... but one day in the hopefully not-to-distant future I would like to pursue sponsorship with a production cue brand. Should I switch to a McD butt/Pred shaft or full predator cue? If I do the former, I could pursue two sponsors. With the latter, I could probably get a more solid sponsorship with predator.
3. Are there any other companies I should keep an eye out for? I don't gamble so TAR is probably out of the question lol.
So now all I have to do is rank in the top 40 in the US so I can get sponsored!
