A Pro playing bad is an opportunity for you...

I am sure this is nothing new for many of you and I just wanted to share a bit. Something happened for me recently that has to do with learning and trying to get better. Another light went on to help show me the way...Is this backwards learning? Maybe so...

Like most of you, I have always tried to play the right way...stance, grip, body placement, stroke, etc....always trying to focus on WHAT TO DO and to keep doing it on all shots and do it correctly...

Here's the new twist...I was watching a recording of pros in a match and one of them was playing bad here and there. When this is happeing, it is a golden nugget for you to pick up and put in your pocket. Look to see what is going wrong for the player. You will see clearly when you hit rewind/replay...you will see WHAT NOT TO DO...

Sooooo, next time you are watching some Accustats tapes/dvd's or something you have recorded on tv, look for those golden nuggets and hit rewind/replay and LEARN WHAT NOT TO DO....

Sometimes the game is much easier to play and enjoy when simply focusing on a short list of What Not To Do instead of possibly a long list of What To Do...

Thanks again,

Mr. J. :-)
