A Question for Digi Cue Owners

I finally bought a DigiCue Blue. With it and a joint protector on, the butt is about 32 inches long. I have an Instroke case and the top can't zip closed with the 32 inch butt inside.

What do you guys who own one do? Do you leave the DigiCue off when the cue is in the case and put it on only when you're practicing or playing? OR, have you found a case that will handle the length? I saw on the JB Case website, that they say the rugged case can handle a 32 inch butt. Any experience with that?

Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Harry

I own a Digicue Blue and have had one since beta testing. I absolutely love it. However, I could not even imagine having it on my cue during a match. It would be very distracting to me. I leave it in one of the pockets in my case. When I use it, it is specifically to drill my stroke.

Thanks for the input. I was wondering how it would be during normal play. I think I'll stick to using for practice only.

Set up a shot and practice it a 100 times then do another type thing, using it in a match doesn't give you the opportunity to address any flaws and make changes

I had the original digicue without Bluetooth.

Left it in the table ball box, at one of the local rooms.
don't know what happened to it? My best guess, it's still there

The only way that I am able to use the DigiCue BLUE during a match is if I either
1) Go to Custom settings and turn only 1 parameter on to vibrate on failure. Steering and Finish are good candidates for this because they tend not to interfere with my mind much, and reinforce good things that don't ruin my aiming if I am forced to think about them. Shot Time is also a great one, where you get a vibrate if you shoot too quickly. Good for not rushing. Other parameters are too technical and specific for match play for me.
2) Go to Custom settings and turn all vibrations off. Then the mobile phone becomes a silent data logger, and you forget that the DigiCue BLUE is even there (except for when you need to use the bridge or reach on long shots, acts as a mini extender sometimes). Then I can look at my statistics later. However, there is a lot more we'd like to do with the stats screen in new app revisions.
