from thurs., may 14 - sat., may 16 carom cafe is hosting an "A" tournament. there are currently 16 men scheduled to play, including dion nelin from denmark. the field includes current u.s. open champion hugo patino, former u.s. open champions sonny cho, mazin shooni and miguel torres, carom cafe owner, michael kang, min jae pak, young gull lee, francisco parra, u.s.b.a. secretary/treasurer, jim shovak, recent B+ tournament winner sang jin lee, former B tournament winner john lee, charles brown, jim watson, jake zymack and mr. yoon (whose first name escapes me).
they plan on a 16 man round robin but if the field reaches 20 they will go to two flites of 10. of course the tournament can be watched via carom tv.
