This is my Dale Perry collection, all three bought from ebay, but only one was bought from Dale himself.
L-R:Leather wrapped, appears to be Coco with maple points and ebony inlays. 19 oz,came with one shaft and an extension(pictured below the cues);brown stained curly maple, twenty points in total, purchased directly from Dale with Stage IV upgrade,19 oz; "Super Maple," caught my attention both for the highly figured curly maple, and the only DP cue I've seen with veneers on the points, came with 2 shafts (12.5mm and 12.55 mm), 19oz. Check out the figure of the maple.yowza.

very nice!

looking at the cue you dscribed with veneers, it looks like to me that the black parts of the points were inlayed into the curley maple forearm and then the inside black was also cut and inlayed into the forum giving it the appearance of veneers which in some cases this would be more work..

if you notice how the light colored point's has the curley maple grain in it and it matches up perfect.. which sometimes is a detail that cuemakers tend to overlook when building cues...

good luck with your cues.. and enjoy them!
