A2Z/TS Engineering Tool Holders - I Made Some

Hello all,

I have been lurking here in the forum for some time now. I am not a cue maker, I just do local tip replacement. I recently picked myself up an A2z QCTP and 2 basic tool post was not enough to suit my need so I decided to CNC a run of them and sell off the extra to recoup my cost. I will let them go for $12 each plus shipping cost.

They are exact copies of the a2z basic toolholders. They have been machined, vibe deburred, and anodized. I have made the dovetail on the back to closer tolerances than the sizes suggested by A2Z on their website which create a horribly loose fit on the tool post.

I have ~40 available right now.

If anyone is looking to trade as well, I am looking for Kamui Tips, 5/16x14 taps, solid carbide boring bar's, and possibly one of the Tiger Leather Cutting blades.

Right now, all are claimed. I will probably have another small batch done before Christmas.

These fit the A2Z Quick Change Tool post and the TS Engineering Tool Post. They are almost indentical. The tool post are made to fit the Taig, Sherline, and Many of the smaller chinese Lathes.

Used up the rest of my material on hand last night and made 14, but I only have enough fasteners for 6. I have the screws on order of course!

I can sell all 14, but only 6 can ship tomorrow. The rest would ship on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I will be raiding the metal supply place tomorrow sometime and getting another 30 made some time in the next week.

I will take 3 and you can either ship tomorrow or Tues/Weds is fine. Please pm paypal address for payment.

Thanks.

Frank.

Sorry I did not get back to you guys sooner. Have not been online much.

I have 10 Available to ship at this moment.

These will be the last ones I make before New Year.

Just got mine in today, so I ran out right away and tried all 9. These are GREAT!!!!. I think they look great, and are a bit snugger fit than the others that I have bought from other sources. I also like the Loctite on the screw post, nice touch, as usually when adjusting the height on my other holders, that damn screw post always turns with the nuts.
I give these a GREAT BIG THUMBS UP:thumbup::thumbup:
Thanks Preston for making these availible to us at such a great price.
Have a merry Christmas.
Dave

I got mine today and they are great now he needs to make the whole.
outfit so l have one on the other lathe..Leonard

I'd use my noodle and scale down a decent wedge type tool post to this size but the cost and required qty of production of an entire post makes me crawl back inside my shell.

Preston I was just thinking out loud on the whole post deal, I keep planning to call a2z and ordering another setup. I will call instead of buying on ebay this time because the cutoff blade holder took an hour of hand filing to get it to hold the blade that I bought with it.--Leonard
