What kind of material did they use to make their ferules? Is it difficult to change the ferule? My favorite got a coned ferule by a poor tip install.

Iso-plast was the orig. mtrl. The mtrl is available but not in 'ferrule' form.
It's offered in rod so ferrules can still be made by a machinist.
Predator's latest offerings as I understand are thin-wall LBM. Much stronger.

Howdy,

You have a Gen-1 shaft.
The Gen-1 was introduced with just the numbers '314'.
Later they decided to add the cat to the decal OF THE SAME SHAFT.
There is NO difference btwn the two shafts other than the decal.

Mr.Goosman's statement is incorrect. Gen-2 shafts decal is: 314-2.
