Accustats free stream

I don't know what the difference is but both AccuStats and TAR's live streams on Ustream come over clear for me with just a tiny bit of lag. Other people's like the Great Southern Billiard Tour's stream go for two seconds then freeze and then go again after five or ten seconds for two more seconds.

I thought it was all on my end but I guess not.
 
These guys are making runouts that make me not want to play pool anymore.

Maybe I should concentrate on chess? Or Tiddlywinks?

This is too good. Mortals don't pocket balls like these guys.

You're looking at Pat Fleming (Accustats CZAR) and pool hall owner Bill Haley just messing around between tournament matches.
When the next tournament match starts (15 minutes hopefully), it wil be at best between 2 B players.
 
That Pat Fleming can still play can't he? :-) I guess it's lucky for a lot of pros that he decided to get on the other side of the camera.
 
If he's lost anything, it's not much, and what you are watching now is him just killing time waiting for the next tournament match to be scheduled on the feature table.

As a producer/director of Accu-stats, I would expect him to play OK, but not world-beater capacity.

I've heard he was one of the innovators of the jump shot, but apparently, he played a decent game himself.

Also an excellent commentator.

Pat was a top 14.1 player once upon a time I believe.
 
Pat was a top player period. He could play all games well and wasn't a freeroll for any opponent.

And yes he was one of the people instrumental in bringing us the jump cue and the jump shot in tournament pool.
 
If anyone has Pat's ear here I would like to know if he did ANYTHING to change the braodcast settings when he restarted the stream.

Before that I was getting the feed nearly perfectly and after the restart it stops and starts every few seconds.

JB, I'm experiencing just the opposite. Before he reset, i was getting a lot of stuttering and freezing.

During this match my transmission has been perfect.

I have no idea what causes the gaps, but they CAN be annoying. I might suggest getting out and back in to reset your system.
