ACTION last night

I decided to go to the (local) poolhall last night to shoot some. When I got there there was hardly a parking spot (at least 50-60 cars there) anywhere near the building. Kinda odd for a Tues. night....so, maybe there's a tourney I didn't know about. When I got in there were a ton of people gathered around a 3 table area of barboxes. I walked up to a buddy and asked if everyone knew I was coming or what?? He said no, I think most are here to see her...and pointed in the direction of a very lovely long black haired beauty. It was Janette Lee. Apparently she'd been around for a couple of days in action, and since I rarely go down to Dave's (Goodtime Billiards), I had no idea.

Well, I did shoot for awhile while keeping an eye on what was going on. She was playing a local player (Judex James) 9ball on the box for (I heard differing amounts $1500-$2000) $$$$ in an 8 ahead race. There was some pretty good side action in on it too. While I'm not a fan of 9ball on the small table, this was quite fun to watch. With all the 9 footer vs. barbox threads out there I thought it was funny that this game was the game of choice for action last night.

I think JL headed back home (not positive), but it sounds like there will be quite a bit of matching up tonight too (a few others from Indy have committed to games today). Wonder if the ball and chain will let me out two nights in a row...lol. :p

I didn't even try to get the lowdown on what happened the whole time she was in action, so I thought giving results from last night might not reflect how "she" did overall. Mr. James had the best of it, and should have from what I saw last night. He's a pretty sporty player for an old man with a white man's fro....LOL. Just kidding Judex if you get wind of this.
