I was just curious, assuming both tables are installed to the highest standard, what are the actually differences between the Centurion and the Gold Crown?

Both have leg levelers and 1" slate... is it just cabinet construction?

Gold crown I frame is built like a railroad trestle. The beams are made up of layers of 1x2 inch hardwood, like butcher block. The metal brackets are 1/4 inch hardened steel. Later gold crowns , particularly the III are more cheaply made. The Gold Crown I was proudly made by union carpenters in the good old US of A.

The Centurion is much uglier....
...but most importantly, it's much lighter.

If I had to buy a table blind, I'd buy the heaviest.
