Adams HOF new old stock

Anyone have experience with one of these? I put in an offer on ebay and it was accepted. The pictures on ebay were awful but I took a shot the seller had really feedback. These I guess were made by adams under their vintage collection. This one being the frank paradise replica CS431 Cue looks minty to me. The Irish linen wrap is not 100% perfect but other than that it looks brand new. I will get some joint protectors for it and maybe wait till my table comes to test roll/shoot it. I don't trust others not bumping into my stuff after someone bumped my carmeli and it smashed on the concrete last weekend.

Did these come in different veneer colors? I think I saw the cue you bought on eBay with natural, red and black veneers. I saw another online with Titlist veneers.

I am trying to load pics. I am not sure why it's not loading. Never had an issue with loading images before.

That's the Adam tribute to Frank Paradise's Diamond King.

All the best,
WW
Ya, what is weird is the points on some others I have seen have green and orange in them this one does not. It's also not marked CS431 like I have seen and just has hall of fame engraved on it. Maybe this was cheaper version or something. It does have all the inlays of the others I have seen though, which is nice.

I do not believe that the cue you bought is an original Adam cue made in Japan. I believe that the cue you have is made China - that being said, I did own one of the Hall of Fame cues like yours- made in China- sold on eBay by a guy in Staten Island NY- the cue was made well and played very well- I have since sold it- but I had no negatives about the cue - I think I remember he sends some sort of certificate with the cue- does not really mean anything. Enjoy it!

You are correct. That Cue is for sure not a real Adam Japan Hall of Fame. Sorry to burst your bubble but that is a Chinese copy. The actual Adam Japan cue did not have Hall of Fame wrote on them. I have researched the entire line. Here is a link to a real one and not a copy - https://www.shootersbilliards.com/Frank-Paradise-Replica-Pool-Cue-CS-431.html

Hmm, well that's no bueno. This guy is advertising japan made and even has a sticker on it. I'll have to get with the seller on this. I don't want it if it was not made in the old japan factory.

Ya I think we bought from the same guy. Did he slap a made in Japan sticker on yours to?

IIRC some did have Hall of Fame on them. This cue was sold here a while back. Said it had HOF on the buttcap. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/for-sale-adam-japan-hof-bushka-tribute-cue-new.417539/

I do not recall a made in Japan sticker.- I had bought mine from him about 6 years ago- like I said- I had no problems with the cue in terms of how it played- it played very well and it was well constructed from what I could see visually- I did sell it though as I did not like the Hall of Fame on the buttcap and he did not show that side of the buttcap in the ebay photos back then.

I won't accuse him of anything- but I think many folks buying these cues are not getting what they think they are buying- he walks a fine line in his representation of these cues- and that is putting it mildly.

I can Promise you Garc , That cue is fake , None of the 6 Hall of Fame cues in that Line had Hall of Fame wrote on the butt cap. Here is a link to a 2007 Compition Sports catalog , You can see the differnce in them, look at the pic I posted of a real Japan factory made one . You can see the differnce. I have seen all 6 in person and no hall of fame on butt caps , here is the link to the catalog

On the op's cue look at the design on the bottom below the wrap , It is not right . Look at the real one in the Catalog. They did not even copy it right. The cue the op bought is a Chinese copy , The cue in the Catalog is the real Japan factory made one. These were made for Competition to sell by Adam Japan. The cue the Op has is fake , Chinese fakery
