I have a john Davis blank sneaky pere that I would like to add a wrap to. Is there any danger to this as far as the woods integrity goes since it is already finished? I recall seeing a similar thread on the subject and the owner of the cue was advised it could very likely warp but he was overseas in Vietnam. I'm only in Indiana so....?
Just don't want to warp the cue. Already will be covering up some beautiful cocobolo in the process.
