Advice on Local Facebook Group for "Pool"

I've decided to start a local Fakebook group,"To connect people and pool" in my area.

The goal is to consolidate info about local pool events, leagues, etc. As well as general pool discussion.

I'm sure some of you have already done this. Any advice, tips, anecdotes are appreciated. Thanks!
 
I would talk to Mike Page and try to get a top 100 fargo list from your state and the closest neighboring states and add them then spread the word. Fargo has a multitude of uses. The most active players will know where all the weekly tourneys are at. Find your local streamers and work with them to promote their streams and your site then work with room owners to help them promote as well. Once you start adding a lot of players you will find more and more players that you'll have mutual friends with and then it'll really take off.
