I have noticed lately that an extraordinary number of new members have come on board, here at AZ. Being a semi-newbe myself I would, at this time, like to offer a bit of sage advice to new arrivals.
What ever you do don't tell anyone you've just joined. And, for heaven's sake, don't use the word newbe. Tell them that you've been posting here for the last couple of years, but only recently changed your name and avatar in order to clear up some legal matters back home. This works almost every time.
Also, pretend you know alot about pool. Use words like masse, and triple combination off the twelve ball. Stuff like that always impresses people. And, don't be afraid to throw out a name, like Lassiter, or Fats, or Duchess.
I hope these pearls of wisdom will prove to be of some benefit to our newest members. I've got to go now, I have a headache.
