After Break 9 Ball...

After the break what is the least shots you've made to get to the 9 Ball... Individual Shots...

I am not going to run all the way to the 9 so if I see a shot that can sink it, you better believe I'm going for it. If my opponent can run out he's going to beat me anyway, and I might push the 9 away from the pocket to deny him.
 
i cant remember. its a stupid game and you cant make any money at it as the opponent can see your speed to easily and will quit.

Well let's see, I have about 30 years playing time, I can safely say I don't have a clue as to what game I played that had the least amount of shots to clear all 9 balls without an early combo. This may be the birth of a new justinb or justnum here going by the posts :eek:

I got a funny story about missing the rack. I'm in a league night playing at a table diagonal from a table there is a match on. The guy I am playing with loves to power up the break, but is not a great player. He mishits and does not hit the rack at all. Second attempt. He mishits again this time jumping the cueball off the table, sails it across the other side of the room onto the table where they are playing a match on, barely misses the shooter and a person giving him a time out, lands on the table they are playing on, travels at least 4 rails on that table without hitting a single ball before one of the guys at the table grabbed it. Drinking, thinking too much of the skill one has and a deep seated male ego thing to show off the break lead to a fun situation hehe.

I think that it's funny how most players can't tell what the lowest amount of shots to finish a game of 8 or 9 ball...
 
The luckiest time I had at a tournament .. 9 ball race to 3. First rack 9 on break, 2nd rack 9 on break, 3rd rack made a ball and my next ball was frozen to 9 in corner pocket. Tapped it in .. four strokes and beat him 3-0

I also can't remember what games I made 3 rail banks in, or how many times I scratched on the 9, or how many times I played a specific person, or what pool hall I was in when I was 25 or how many games I played, to save you the trouble of asking.
