I just wanted to share some new work done by Bob DZ. I picked it up 8 days ago. It has a Predator back-up shaft that he finished to match the trim rings on this cue, and the original shaft is a higher growth ring shaft, with a shorter ferrule similar to predator shaft size. ALL the white is ivory except the ferrules, yes, even the "hoppe ring". I finally got my double green veneered cue :) Feel free to compliment if you wish, I'm sure Bob would like to read them. Enjoy the pic, Jeff

Why did he put the Predator logo upside down?

Nice cue though.

You'd have to ask him to be sure, but I assume so Predator don't confuse it with their work? Ask him to be positive though

Hi Jeff ,
super looking cue you got there.

curious to know why you went with the older style 3/8-10 pin. He is using the newer style on his cues now. Why the older pin?

weight

The weight factor. I'm told the new pins weigh a bit more, so to keep the weight where it should be, this is the pin that was needed. This way none of my older shafts needed to be modified to be used on this cue either, the trim rings just won't match up if I decide to use them.

yes.. it looks awesome....

my opinion why he put the predator logo that way, is when the cue is in your case and you are selecting the shaft you want, the predator logo will be right side up then...

Just a selfish little BUMP to show off my cue in case you missed it before. Enjoy the pics guys, Jeff :p

bump

I haven't bumped this in a while, and I'm sure there are those who haven't seen this beauty. So, BUMP lol

Very classy looking cue, I LIKE IT. It looks like one Richard Black would make. poolrod.

Nice classic look. Really nice looking cue.

Did it ever pass your mind that a White with Green spec Cortland Linen Wrap would even make the cue look even better?

ugh...

That wrap was suggested to me from the beginning, but there's NO white in the cue...So really, how can you think it would look right? The ONLY white on this cue are the "hoppe ring" and the ferrule, but there's plenty of black and green in this cue, which is why I chose the wrap it has. IMO, this cue is the cats' a$$ the way it is, and it will stay this way. Thanks for the suggestion, but I gladly disagree with it :D
