The next stage of the AGIPI Tournament will be Jan. 28, 29 & 30.

Group A - Forthomme, Kasidokostas, Choi, Nelin and Hofman

Group B - Zanetti, Horn, Nilsson, Tasdemir and Palazon

of note from late Nov.: Jerome Barbeillon ran a 19 against Sung-Won Choi........................and lost the game!!!

Jerome Barbeillon ran a 19 against Sung-Won Choi........................and lost the game!!!

That was a great game (and is available on Kozoom replay for "Pass Premium" members). Barbeillon wasn't playing well, and then all of a sudden he put the heat on to take the lead. Choi just kept doing his thing though and won by 6 points I think.

That game reminded me of the close call Jaspers had with DeBruijn at AGIPI in 2008. Jaspers broke with a 17 (here on youtube), DeBruijn pulled ahead averaging 3.0+, and then Jaspers ran a 20(!) to re-take the lead...that's 17 and 20 in the same 50 point game...and still almost lost! DeBruijn even had the first chance at the winning point but missed, letting Jaspers take it away.

Which reminds me of the amazing Caudron-Sayginer match from SLIO 2008, but anyway...

Does anyone know who has the most 20+ runs? It has to be Jaspers, right?
