SCHILTIGHEIM - The defending champion is Dick Jaspers, 32 of the best players in three-cushion, crossed over ten groups are struggling in the qualification rounds, the tournament will be played over sixteen days with more than eighty matches, all live on the website Kozoom. There is a prize money of more than 100.000 euro’s estimate, including bonuses for runs over ten and high averages.
The Agipi Masters 2011 will start today in the Agipi auditorium in Schiltigheim with six matches in three groups. It’s the start of the fourth edititon of the prestigious tournament, with preliminary rounds on 4, 5 and 7 November, 25, 26 and 27 November, 28, 29 and 30 January, 25, 26 and 27 February and the final stages on 24, 25, 26 and 27 March.
Three groups of four players will start today in Agipi, the best two from each group qualify for the next round.
The group of young players opens the tournament at 14:00 with the following matches:
Glenn Hofman (Netherlands)-Sameh Sidhom (Egypt).
Pierre Soumagne (France), Thierry Amar (France).
The first matches in group 2 at 17.30:
Josef Philipoom (Belgium)-Vu Anh Duong (Vietnam)
Tayfun Tasdemir (Turkey)-Michael Nilsson (Sweden)
The first matches of Group 1 at 21.00 hours:
Daniel Sánchez (Spain)-Ruben Legazpi (Spain)
Torbjörn Blomdahl (Sweden)-Dion Nelin (Danmark).

Nelin is a guy to beat! First he gets in the Worlds as a first reserve, and go figure, advances to the KO round beating current world champ. Now he is over Blomdahl!

Torbjorn never looked comfortable. Maybe he isn't feeling well. Now Nelin faces Sanchez, and I'm picking Dani.

you just listed listed Sanchez's score wrong, you said he scored 29 points but you only tallied 28 after all innings. Clerical error ?
