Ain't no fun watching mere mortals playing OnePocket.

Once you see Efren play OnePocket (the better oponent the better he plays), it is really not much fun watching anyone else play the game.
I know that is a pretty strong statement but (for me) IT'S TRUE!

That seemed to be the case last night when he was playing George Breedlove. Efren had George pulling his hair out the whole match. He can put whitey where ever he needs to.

Is Efren and Cliff suppose to play 1P again this year?

Remember Tom, I am in;)

After last night's match, I found out just how little I know. You have time to see every angle and shot and just when you think you have figured out the best way to play something, he throws some creative shot in there that you never dreamed of. It was truly amazing. Man I love this game and love to watch Efren playing it!

And Don't Forget.................

When Efren came here (not all that long ago) he was getting serious weight (and losing) from players in Texas & Chicago.

All I can say about that is those days are OVER.

When he comes to Hard Times in Bellflower he gives guys that know how to play the game anywhere from 11-5 to 15-3. They never get to see their pocket, then they make a mistake and he is out. Railbirds talk about his next shot and he does something no one has even thought about and people are trying to figure out what the hell they just saw and how it happened. God I'm happy he likes it in So. Calif!

I was there when Efren played Amarillo Slim, the spot on that game was 17-5! By far the biggest spot I've even seen in 1 pocket.

I was talking to a buddy a few weeks ago, and he asked me why Efren never wrote a one pocket book. I told him it wouldn't do any of us any good cause we couldn't execute his stuff even if he showed us how. Only one pocket player IMO who's as fun to watch as Efren was Ronnie Allen, in his prime. They both have extraordinary creativity and pull shots out of thin air.

To err is human, to play on air is divine.
