We're having a 8 ball Open Pool Tournament next weekend Fri/Sat/Sun Aug 1, 2 and 3rd at our bar in Pelham, AL (SW side of Birmingham). $1,500 added, $100 entry fee, no greens fees. Details posted in Tournament Room.
Any AZ'ers that care to play or just come by and visit, please look me up and introduce yourselves. First beer on the house. I'll be one of the Tournament Directors (I'll be the older one - LOL). Stevie Moore has committed to playing and tells me Brandon Shuff said he'll be there as well.
Another FYI. Stevie Moore has said he could be available Thursday night, Friday during the day prior to the tournament and Monday following the tournament to give lessons. Lessons can be individual or group and can cover basic fundamentals and stroke, advanced play and/or CTE/Pro One aiming. Student's choice. $200 for 4 hours individual, $250 4 hours group. PM me if you're interested, I'll help coordinate it with Stevie. I've had several lessons from Stevie and can personally attest to the excellent job he does as an instructor.
Finally, we're going to be using the Outsville Accu Racks in the tournament. Chris has also committed to sending a few of the Ki-Tech tips to hand out. If things go to plan, we're going to have a reputable local cue repair guy there who could install one of these if you bring your cue by. Sample Ki-Tech tip would be free, you just pay the modest fee charged by the cue repair guy. I'm not sure how many samples Chris is sending but they'll all be given away for free, first come, first served.
I'm looking forward to meeting some of you, would be great to put some faces with names.
