Alcano and Souquet in Final ...

What a finish to the Souquet/Fu semifinal. Hill-to-hill went to a safety battle on the 5 ball which was tied up with the 6. Souquet, a master at safeties, prevails after leaving Fu a half ball hit with the 6 in front.

He made the best shot of the tournament on the 5, a hard shot with super duper low right draw and got shape on the 6. iF he missed that shot, he would have lost, he really really came with a shot on that 5. Great match.

I dunno know, I picked Alcano, although Ronnie showed a little weakness at the end, and Ralf is a great finisher, so it might just go down to the wire tomorrow.

It'll be a fight. Ronnie is playing lights out but this is Ralf's show I think. Ronie has made some errors when the pressure is on and Ralf has responded to the pressure with great shots. I think it'll be tight.

there is no way Ronnie is going to win. It took him how many tries to win his first Joss tour victory. He was a perinial bridesmaid for a long time. I predict he will choke and Ralph will win easily. The pressure of a world championship has to be many times that of winning a joss tour event.

Ralf Souquet needs a new nickname...Mr. Kool (kinda like Mr. Freeze with a cue). The man is so cool under fire. Unflappable. Ronnie seems gifted but jittery. If Ralf could only speed things up a little he would be my hero.

yeah, he won 3 or 4 in a row once he did win, but he will be facing a new pressure he has never felt before and Ralph has definately proven he can handle the pressure

money matches. It means putting food on the table. They may not eat if they
