Alcano vs Souquet

Ronnie Alcano wins 11 to 4.
Congrats to Souquet on another excellent finish of a another pool major. To me, he's undoubtedly one of the top 5 tournament 9-ball players of all time.

I think Ronnie had the edge in this match due to his gambling nature and background. I'm not sure how many times Ralph has stayed up till the break of dawn gambling on a pool match. I didn't see the match, but I'm sure endurance and fatigue played significant roles on the outcome of this match.

If it is true, I am surprised that Ralf has stayed up late just to gamble. I hope he was playing for more than the $50,000 first place prize that is going to be awarded to the winner. Ralf is a very disiplined person and player.....

Knowing Ralf, he doesn't gamble. He also will rest rightaway.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't exactly clear with my post.

I wasn't implying that he did any gambling yesterday. What I meant is that the fatigue factor probably got the best of Ralf, considering he finished his tournament matches at 4:30am or so yesterday.

On the other hand, Alcano is a gambler. I'm sure he's used to playing all night gambling. So fatigue would be less of a factor for him.

Sorry for the confusion.

that's correct

There really should be no reason why any matches go until four in the morning. unless it is a marathron match.... terrible match scheduling..

No matter who wins this match will have no chance against Shane :)

They are both former World Champs, of caurse they have a chance. However right now Shane would be my favorite.
