Alerts for New Threads

Anyone else dislike being notified of new threads through their Alert Box? As in

" So and So started a thread called NEW STYLE CUETEC TRUEWOOD CYNERGY CUE "WRAPLESS". There may be more posts after this.

If you go to the thread for forsale items you can click unwatch. If you watch a thread you will get alerts for new items ore responses
