I'd have to say the group stages have been very disappointing for the Filipinos. Alex, Alcano, Lining, Parica, Valle, and Andam are all done.

Does anyone know the status of Orcullo's match with Davis? Dennis might be a goner too.
 
Alcano Through!

I was mistaken about Alcano. After he lost his first two matches, I just wrote him off as gone.

But with his 8-2 victory today against Martens and Reimering's loss, Alcano made it through by the slimmest of margins. He beats out Reimering because he has one less games lost (18-19).

Wow, Ronnie is very fortunate.
