I saw him last night in a Philippine TV comedy sitcom.

Alex has always been a comedian. You should see his Efren impersonation.
Someone posted some videos of Alex comedic work on the table a year or two ago.
I downloaded and watched his Efren impersonation. It was a riot. He walks around the table caressing the rails like Efren. Does the bicycle stroke like Efren. Runs a few balls then misses then looks up in the ceiling and starts scratching his head.
It was funny as hell.
Also last year at the Bike. After beat Efren him to avenge his (Efren's) earlier loss. Alex kissed him. He told some of the Filipinos around he was gonna grow a mustache like Efren's. He even bowed at Efren when Efren kicked a ball in.
In the same tourney, Ronnie Wiseman told me Alex was the next world champion.
Amazingly enough, Ronnie was right. Ronnie must be a prophet.
