A year or two ago, Alex showed up drunk to play Darren Appleton in the finals of a major 14.1 event. He should have been disqualified back then and he should have been disqualified from the Hammerheads tournament too.

A year or two ago, Alex showed up drunk to play Darren Appleton in the finals of a major 14.1 event. He should have been disqualified back then and he should have been disqualified from the Hammerheads tournament too.
He was out of the tournament at that point. Just happened to be in the room still.
If I were to put Alex in a tournament, I would prefer that he wasnt shitbombed. If he puts himself into a tournament, who are we to tell him what to do or what not to do? Because one guy over indulges a couple times a year doesnt make it a bad sport or not attractive to sponsors. Look at ALL pro sports, there are all kinds of murderers, rapists, alcoholics, drug addicts and everything else which one could deem negative in the world and they ALL make more than Alex who has to grind for every dollar he earns.

I was there! He was not drinking during the tournament. After he was out of the tournament he got to having a good time with some of the players and patrons that were doing the same.
The only problem was he was getting in the area of the stream at the end and was helped out of the area by friends.
It was unwise for him to get in the area of the stream because business was being conducted. He told Shane that he loved him (might have been a clever sharking move to help Mills):smile:
It didn't work, all that love made Shane play better. After it was over he congratulated D. Mills and Shane as if he had won himself. Disqualified? NOT!!
Go Alex Go, but stay out of the stream its got sharks in it.
