Just got Alf Taylor's book "The Other Side Of The Road". Thanks a bunch
buddy for the books and CD's. Alf and I were good friends (and still are) back in the Cotton Palace days. In his book he makes it sound as if he was
not that good of a player. WRONG. He could play. A lot of road players came through the C. P. and Alf shot em down. I was there when he played
Eddie Kelly who was the best player in the world at that time. Alf got the 7
which is like fighting Mike Tyson if he spots you a switch. Alf got him. Alf's
book is a great read, interesting, funny, sad. Pool player or not you will like
it.
