The last major WPA event, All Japan will be fought amongst 128 players this week
Qualifiers start tomorrow and final rounds start from 21 -24 Nov. Last 64 start on 23Nov and last day 24Nov very gruelling with the 2 finalised having to play 4 to 5 matches.
Usually attended by top Filipino, Taiwanese players and upcomers + the top players from US and Europe.
Past winners include elites like Efren, Busta, Yang, Ko, Chang, Thorsten,Cory Deuel

This year's field will be tough as usual brimming with top players:

Qualifiers on 19th and 20th Nov are over and final 128 draw is finalised at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...796.1073741837.428251307276397&type=1&theater

Notable victim in qualifers was Jeff de Luna while Chao Fong Pang and Liu Hai Tao made it out

Still early days and no tough matches for the top guns tomorrow. Toughest group comprise Chao, Yang and Wang Can where only 2 out of 4 will make it to last 64. Chao Vs Wang Can play 1st group match tomorrow

A truly remarkable field filled with all sorts of monsters. FB page shows they are playing with enormous pockets. Look for big packages.
 
Lee Van is playing right now. he's behind Chen Hsin Ting (TPE) 4-2.
Johann Chua is playing, by the way. watch out for this kid. he finished top among all Filipino players in All-Japan Open last year.
 
Rodney is there??? He wanted to gamble with the euros not the asian players... So 2 and he's done I guess??? oooh he might draw Thorsten who is a euro and then... yeah still 2 and done..... ohh wait Mika is there so another euro.... and yeah he is still 2 and done... Vidal!!!! okies now hes 3 and done LOL.. Maybe....

Or Rodney catches a gear and... NM... Unicorns and Leprechauns make better fairy tales...

Wonder why Shane and a few regular Euro players didn't show?

SVB took part this year but did not this year probably cos of big drop in prizemoney. Archer was slated to play but probably withdrew cos of MC duties

Rodney lost on the hill to Hayato. I am not sure of how to read their charts, but I think he won his first match so he is still in the field. Is Marc Vidal over there? I could see a name that was Mark V but could not see the rest.

Didn't make it to the hill lost 9-7 but had his chances... The BIH error ended up costing him along with some other shots he was expected to make.... He beat my 2 and done forecast when he won the first match... maybe he will catch a gear......
