I came across this today, but I am fairly confused as to the format. One of the players runs up to the 13 ball and misses. The four ball had been made on the break so this should be sufficient to win the rack. But play continues!
My only guess is that they are playing cumulative points over a number of racks, rather than just trying to score 61 points each game.
If this is the case I really like that version of the game.
