ok, i thought Allison has played with the same Cuetec Cue for the last 10 years or so? or did i misunderstand something?

i was watching some of my old tapes from the ESPN Ultimate 9-Ball Challenge last night. Allison was playing Nesli O'Hare, and she was shooting with a reddish colored cue, not the white one she always uses.

just thought that was kinda funny.

Are they actual prongs or are they just "painted-on" or decals?

I worked at a pool cue store allison came and did a exspo. she played my boss wife and let her have her shaft she was using a cue tech but she had a wood shaft on it least this is what the owner said so does she play with the crapy cuetec shafts or not .

earl plays with an off the shaft custec shaft. the only difference is he strips the finish off with the colored cleaning films.

I believe the correct term is overlays.... :D

an overlay is a stencil :):)

i think you get 'em at your local home depot and sponge on any color you want, black being the color of choice. but i think allison should try rose pink points.

uhh yeah he does. go talk to earl

It may have started out that way, but he sure doesn't play with it in the stock/new configuration. His shaft has a pro taper that must be 24" long and is about 12 mm - like playing with a pencil. I don't think Cuetec makes a shaft with that taper - just a guess.

Adios,

i havent talked to earl in a few years. he might of gotten new shafts i dont know. but he told me he used to do that to make them smooth.

They do , back when I bought my first good cue, or so I thought,, I bought a cuetec as well as my friend. His was a model that the local Rec. store had on the shelf. We did not notice till we go home and started shooting that it was a very narrow shaft, about 11mm. I new shit about cues at the time and thought it was just the prduction of it, but we later found that it must have been custom. Too narrow for my taste.
