i am selling my espiritu that i got back in late august 2005 directly from russ. i ordered this from him and not from a dealer like the ones you see on the internet. i had it made with bacote forearm/butt and a beautiful curly maple wrap. i wanted it real light, 18 oz, so i had him put a black phenolic joint instead of stainless.
this cue has about 50 hours of playing time on it due to the fact that the local room here has now closed down and being married with child i cannot travel the thirty miles to the next town to play as much as i need to.
two months ago i had an ivory ferrule and moori tip put on and that was not cheap. as you know, nothing plays like ivory and if you have never played with an ivory ferrule believe me it is worth the extra money!
cue also comes with some ebony joint protectors.
