Might be tempting fate with the Taom too.Likely a coincidence or else they might need to work on their stroke. One can miscue with anything if it's hit poorly enough.

When you have magical chalk on the tip you can just stroke a ball any old way. Your miscue limit is expanded 10X over what it was before... I mean REALLY put the extreme spin on it! ...and then folks are surprised they miscue.Might be tempting fate with the Taom too.
AHA! I bet humans are at the bottom of this! When you have magical chalk on the tip you can just stroke a ball any old way. Your miscue limit is expanded 10X over what it was before... I mean REALLY put the extreme spin on it! ...and then folks are surprised they miscue.
I've seen this happen time and time again with several different brands of chalk. People get a new chalk and think they are invincible but it's just not reality. There's only so much any chalk can do and if you push it bad things can happen. Of course you can get some really special things to happen but the odds are not in your favor when you tempt fate.![]()

I'm a C level player who hasn't miscued over twice with it in 10 months (after the initial loading the CB just to see phase when I first got it). Both of those micues were caused by my back spasming and causing me to hit the CB hard and low with a swiping shot. Definitely not the chalk's fault when someone almost falls into the table while stroking.Well yea except if you don't do it before the swap and do it after. These are B+ and A level players.
