My conclusion: Yes, she should have called this.

If she hit the four thicker, it could have gone into the corner. If she hit it thinner, the two could have gone into the corner. If she hit the four on the other side, the four could have gone into the side pocket.

I really don't know if it was worth it to consider all these options. She only had 7 seconds left on the shot clock when she played the shot! If she misplays the safety, she'd probably be kicking herself for overthinking it.

But she spent all that time considering the safety, and she did misplay it. I think it takes half a second to call a ball and pocket, and the one that happened is the most obvious candidate.
