Corporate sponsorship comes, in part, because the CEO either plays the game or likes to hobnob with the players.

So ....
How many CEOs are there who love to play or watch pool?
How many pool players would be amenable to schmoozing with corporate types?
Who would play matchmaker?

ALL company's entertain the idea of sponsorship. The misconception in most cases is that sponsorship is offered in return for some sort of kind favour or help in kind... :thumbup:

It's not easy. "The Big Guys" want real data.

• Core Demographics?
• Average ages and incomes for viewers?
• Number of "eyes"?
• How does the product relate to my brand?
• How does the product showcase my brand?

It's all about the ROI (Return on Investment). Yes it will take some personal interest by an Angel Investor. Once it works and it shows well anything is possible. NASCAR has long outreached pass automobile industry and landed on our dinner table. Beer, Cereal, Viagra and coffee. I think bowling should be the model (not the end game because they still are not out of the danger zone).
