Hello all,
This is Kay Higgins posting, with the Kings Bay Promotions, Inc. Amateur 9-Ball Tours. We currently hold Amateur 9-Ball Tournaments in 5 states in the Southeast United States. We are interested in expanding to other states with this new concept. Right now we are targeting Texas, Michigan, the Memphis, Tennessee area, and also the Northeast United States.
We are in need of tournament directors and host pool rooms in these areas and beyond. I know TD's that might be interested, but they (and I) have a few questions. Could you explain exactly how the tour works. I heard that you take 50% of the entry fee prize fund from the tournament. I don't see how you will continue to survive if you do that. What benefits do you have for the players that the other Tours don't have? How do you determine who plays, and who has to sit out?
